How to round image corners
Four quick steps, no account and no software to install.
Add your image
Drag a file in, click the box, or paste a screenshot straight from your clipboard.
Set the radius
Slide to taste or tap a preset. Going all the way to 50% gives you a circle or an oval.
Pick format & background
PNG and WebP keep transparent corners. JPG fills them with the colour you choose.
Download
Save the file or copy it, then drop it into your site, slides, app or chat.
Why people use this tool
Small, fast and respectful of your files.
Private by design
Your picture is processed on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere, so personal photos stay personal.
Crisp, smooth edges
Corners are drawn as true curves at your image's full resolution, so edges stay clean instead of jagged.
Every corner your way
Round all four equally or give each corner its own radius for tabs, cards and speech-bubble shapes.
Light on data
Resize on export and pick WebP to keep files small without a visible drop in quality.
Works offline
Install it like an app. After the first visit the tool opens even without a connection.
Any screen
The layout adapts from small phones to wide monitors, with big touch-friendly controls.
When rounded corners help
Rounded images feel friendlier and more modern than hard-edged rectangles. They are everywhere: profile pictures, app icons, product cards, blog thumbnails and presentation slides. A gentle radius of 8 to 20 percent suits most photos, while a full 50 percent gives you a perfect circle for avatars.
If your image will sit on a coloured page, export a transparent PNG or WebP so the corners blend in. If you need a tiny file for email or a document that doesn't support transparency, choose JPG and match the background colour to wherever the image will land.
Tip: the radius is measured as a share of the shorter side, so the same setting looks consistent on both big and small pictures.
Frequently asked questions
Is this rounded corner tool really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many images you can process.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens inside your browser with the HTML5 canvas, so your pictures never leave your device.
How do I keep a transparent background?
Export as PNG or WebP and leave the transparent background switch on. JPG cannot store transparency, so a background colour is used instead.
How do I turn a picture into a circle?
Tap the Circle preset, or set the radius to 50%. For a perfect circle, use a square image or crop it first.
Can I round only some corners?
Yes. Turn on Custom corners and set the top-left, top-right, bottom-right and bottom-left radius separately.
Can I install it as an app?
Yes. Use the Install app button, or Add to Home Screen in your browser menu. After the first visit it also works offline.
